So the blurb for this movie sounded interesting, which was what motivated me to check it out to begin with. I was quite shocked and impressed with the complexities of the primary characters, and how Ben and Chon confront their differences in order to overcome such insane obstacles. Some of Chon’s views on the world and how dark and cold things really are were quite shocking, and ingenious in my opinion. I recommend this movie more for the interactions and conflicts between the three primary characters (Ophelia, Ben and Chon), but the action sequences and story line is quite good as well. From what I’ve read on a lot of other sites, this is one of the few cases when the movie is better than the book. Oliver Stone for the win!
